A Summer wedding at The Garden Museum

When we first started chatting to One Stylish Day, S+R had a huge 3 day marquee wedding planned. But of course, as we all know the dreaded ‘C’ word ruined a lot of plans. The overall theme of the wedding was to bring ‘the outside in’. With large foliage tree installations and abundant floral meadows.

The garden Museum has a beautiful courtyard which we took inspiration from, opting for a heavily textured column display for the ceremony. We added huge tree installations which were over 9ft high in the main dining room, which gave it a sense of bringing that outside in that S+R were striving for in their original wedding plans.

The colour palette was a mix of lilacs, apricots, lemons and greens. We added abundant floral bowls in round and long vessels. Adding a mix of bud vases gave it a truly abundant and luxurious feel. These tones complemented the bespoke stationery that louise COMMISSIONED.
