Known and recognised for bold and beautiful blooms and inspired by nature and seasonality, Blume was founded on the principal of offering two services: Floristry and Creative Planning.
Elspeth grew up in Kent, where her creativity was hugely influenced by her upbringing. Her father, an architect and business owner, was forever creating, and her mother, once a highly regarded administrator at Kent University, was always the one to rely upon to get things done. Elspeth’s artistic flair and love of a spreadsheet are attributes which have been instilled from an early age and underpin the creative professionalism of Blume.
Elspeth started her career as a fashion buyer where she would be found pulling together collections from Moschino, Ralph Lauren and MaxMara, as well as many other luxury brands. She moved to the South West where she worked for renowned interior designer Sims Hilditch for 4 years. Working with Sims Hilditch was where she really developed her love of styling and design and passion for flowers.
Elspeth has worked as a design project manager consulting and producing creative projects across the UK and Ireland, with work featured in renowned national and international style titles including Homes and Gardens, House and Gardens and The English Home Magazine.
